Smoking provides you with all of your 4 basic food groups.
You don't have to eat anymore.
Quick, run down and grab a couple of packs of Lucky Strike Non filters and have supper. :p

well, as a research chemist, i must say that yea...they might be FDA approved, but i wouldn't call them safe. depends on the amount. most are approved as FDA additives, which usually means small amounts, they don't post the amount of each. hmm.

i can easily post some of the nasty stuff about this list (chemicals), if you want. heh. there's some stuff on there that i wouldn't play with...let alone inhale.

Ammonia is safe to use for cleaning.
Chlorine bleach is safe to use for cleaning.
So if you put these 2 safe ingredients together...........call 911.

I took these pics in lab right before I left today. Remember, these are the pure compounds.

Also, if you wanna find out more info on any chemical, look up its MSDS (Material Safty Data Sheet). This will provide a lot of information. A good website with lots of MSDS links is located at:

http://www.ilpi.com/msds/

or perhaps:

http://www.msdssearch.com/

Oh well...

It looks like they took every chemical they could find and threw it in..

Puff...

Here's my favorite ingredient from the list:

SMOKE FLAVOR - Found in hickory-wood smoke distillate; used in baked goods, cheese, meats.

here you go mike enjoy.

Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins. These include nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT.

Nicotine is highly addictive. Smoke containing nicotine is inhaled into the lungs, and the nicotine reaches your brain in just six seconds.

Nicotine in small doses acts as a stimulant to the brain. In large doses, it's a depressant, inhibiting the flow of signals between nerve cells. In even larger doses, it's a lethal poison, affecting the heart, blood vessels, and hormones. Nicotine in the bloodstream acts to make the smoker feel calm.

As a cigarette is smoked, the amount of tar inhaled into the lungs increases, and the last puff contains more than twice as much tar as the first puff. Carbon monoxide makes it harder for red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. Tar is a mixture of substances that together form a sticky mass in the lungs.

Most of the chemicals inhaled in cigarette smoke stay in the lungs. The more you inhale, the better it feels—and the greater the damage to your lungs.

if arsenic is illegal, and DDT is illegal (DDT is that pestisicide, right?) why are they allowed to be in cigarettes? smoking should be illegal, or weed should be made legal, as you shouldn't be allowd to have one, but not the other, they are the same thing, except weed has the benefit of making you feel good (or whatever weed does, i dont know)

*whistles* Netherlands *cough* :D

Anyhow, even my employer (Mercedes Benz...) explicitly states in its rules of conduct that employees may consume MJ while not at work, as long as it does not affect work--> a joint in the evening is certainly okay :D .

Of course... smoking MJ isn't really good for your health. Anyone who thinks different is a fool IMO. Does that stop people from smoking it? No, of course not, because it also has it's benefits. Besides, it's proven to be less harmful than alcohol, and I think that's what we have to compare it to. Smoking MJ has less worse side effects than drinking enough alcohol to reach the same level of "dizzyness". You can't realistically OD on THC either, you'd have to smoke the equivalent of a telephone pole of pure MJ (no tobacco). You WILL pass out LOOOONG before that happens. Needless to say, its's much easier to OD on alcohol. But to villify MJ and drink alcohol is plain stupid. Controlled sale of MJ to keep people away from harder drugs (coffeeshops get closed down if they sell anything but MJ, the vast majority isn't allowed to sell any alcohol, that's what bars & pubs are for) is much smarter than letting people who have an interest in selling their MJ customers other stuff than MJ, of which they make more profit of course (I'm talking about dealers here). To put people longer in jail for possession of MJ than for rape is obnoxious.

What REALLY pisses me off though is people who smoke weed because they think it's cool. That's also quite stupid.

Anyhow, cheers,
Ronald
