In Firefox, we can restore previously opened windows and tabs.

I wonder where is that "Restore Previous Session" file is being stored that is shown under History.

I would like to save that file so that I can use it without going through all the windows and tabs everyday. I normally open three to four windows and several tabs in each windows at a time in Firefox.

I looked in the Mozilla folder under User profile, but I can't make it out which one is or it is somewhere else..

Anyone knows where is that "Restore" file is being stored?

You can add more addresses to open in more tabs in options if thats what you want to do

Sava,

I want to launch all the same windows and tabs next day without going though one by one. When somebody else uses the PC they open the browser and closes it, it saves the last instance of it under "Restore Previous Session", and I lose all my browser windows and tabs to launch again at a time. If I save a copy of that file, it is easy for me. That is the purpose.

FF store that info in a database file in your profile folder. Probably the dir StartupCache/*.sqlite or one of the other cache dirs.

Hey Hi :)

I believe.. if you back up all your session store file (looks like a javascript .JS ext) from the firefox cache, and then clear the cache and put it back, that may do it....or maybe not.. I thought that may work..

Thank you all.

I found it. It is the file sessionstore.js in the profile. Save it and replace it whenever needed. There is a backup file too if needed.

Cache files will be flushed out every time we close the browser if we select that option.
