A weird problem with the browser

I don’t know how to describe but here it goes.

I usually open multiple Firefox windows with other programs at the same time. When I am reading a document in any other program, one of the opened Firefox windows becomes active as if I selected it and jump over the one I am looking. So, I tested only with Firefox multiple windows. It happened with that too like if I look at one Firefox window, the other firefox window will be active and jump over the one I am looking. There are no fixed intervals that I can see but, It happens once every few minutes that drives me nuts.

One thing I noticed that the last active Firefox window is the one jumping over the current one.

It is Vista 32 SP2 with current updates. I haven’t experienced this problem before. I did a virus scan with MSE, run SuperAntispyware and Malwarbytes. It didn’t catch anything. I updated the Firefox to 5.01 yesterday, but that didn’t help to solve it.

Any idea what may be the problem here.

Hi Sava,

This Geforce doesn't have the Hardware acceleration. This is Geforce 8800GTX. I have been using this PC for the last 4 years and never had this problem.

Maybe something else?
