HELP - Globe Broadband Tweak

pls. help me optimize my broadband. i nvr got my maximum speed limit which is 1mbps.

Connection type - Globe DSL

Speed - 1mbps

OS - Windows 7 ultimate

Modem - PROLiNK Hurricane 5200 Modem/Router (came from my isp)

Router - DLINK dir-100

Download SG Vista TCP/IP Patch : http://www.speedguide.net/files/vista/S ... _patch.cmd
Run & Choose "Y" from the Menu to Optimize ( or "D" to rever to Defaults )

nothing change.. i still can't get my maximum speed.. anything else aside from vista patch?

The TCP Optimizer v3.x works for Vista/Windows 7, so I'd just use the "optimal" settings in the Optimizer (set the connection speed slider to 1-3 Mbps).

You seem to be getting 0.9Mbps, which is about 90% of your advertised connection speed. DSL/PPPoE has some added overhead and 90% of your advertised speed may be all you're able to get, optimizing your end of the connection is still dependent on the feed you get from your ISP.
