Good Antivirus Avira or Nod32?

They're both awesome. For the past year...may give a slight edge to AntiVir. Year before that...Eset. This year....who knows, we'll see.

tried the avira. i would say it make my internet so slow. also shows false speedtest when avira is enable. going to try Nod32. Uhmm, what about symantec? is it good?

Nod32 seems to work nice for me. very user friendly.

It is a pretty slick package...their interface really matured. I'm currently at a big insurance company upgrading their antivirus on the servers and workstations....Eset NOD32 V4.2, as well as their Mail Security for MS Exchange Server product.

i saw av-comparatives reviews that symantec internet security is better than NOD32 in terms of virus detection, removal and system performance. Seems to be a good one.

Yup Symantec has climbed back on top for the past 2 years....they did a ground up rebuild of their products, and now their products are quite light. Gone are the "bloated" complaints.
I'll give them a longer period of time until having confidence in them again.
