I need to set up remote access to a WAN (4 sites)
Only needs to be for management (8 people)
I'm using Untangle open VPN to connect the 4 sites.
I would like managment to connect to the network using Microsoft remote desktop, what do I need to set up network side for this?
As you can tell, Im a total novice!!
Please help me!!!

Do you have connectivity through your VPN tunnels already?
What is management going to connect to using RDC? A Terminal Server?

Thanks for the quick response stonecat
Nothing connected as of now (its a college project)
But I'm planning on using gateway server running Untangle openVPN.
Regarding the RDC connection, does it alsways have to connect to a Terminal Server? It's ony for about 8 people.
Only need access to email and files
Thanks again

Remote Desktop client is used to connect to another host Windows machine..such as a computer running XP Professional, Vista biz, Terminal Server, etc. You basically log onto a desktop session of that host PC..and run your e-mail apps, or line of business apps, from there. Remote Desktop Client allows you to see the desktop of the host PC. Very little bandwidth required..just your keyboard and video are transferred across it.
