Guys ihave a problem.
I have a Fios modem/router down stairs in my media closet. and is running wireless and wired to 2 ports. One to my home office and the other one to our media room... Now in my media room I have a ps3, xbox 360 and a Wii, All of which I want to hard wire. The port coming out of the wall is a Cat5e port. I was told all I needed was a "Switch" to split the signal to the 3systems. So the geek squad guy at Best buy told me to get a switch he picked out. I did.. Kinda cheep.. Ask if anything need to be configured.. and he said no. I hooked it up correctly and the none of the systems will contect to the internet. the ps3 finds a IP address but will not conect.. Please help me!!
