As y Thread says.My speedtest really sucks same as my lame internet connection

.Im paying for a 512kbps package.Maybe this is the reason why my download speed sucks also.Any suggestion about my tweak settings

The above are unusual. Try repairing your registry with the XP CD.

Sorry for the late reply.I don't usually use update or on my automatic updates,cause when the last time i update my computer,it make my connection sucks in online games.I mean so lag.Anymore suggestions sir about my registry tweaking ?

No. The power supply unit of the comp is mounted on the inside top of the tower and may emit electrical interference affecting the modem.

Try connecting your comp to the router by cable and see if speed increases. If so, the slowdown is due to wireless.

Your modem probably has a built-in router in order to provide a wireless connection. Search Google for the technical spec of your modem.

That's a cell phone modem. Your comp is already connected to it by cable. Your speed will probably fluctuates according to clarity of cell phone signals. An external antenna may help.
