I didn't see anything in that article about "internet"
Although the raise in costs without a raise in speed is BS.. Comcast for one is guilty of taking advantage of small amounts of customers whom don't have any other choices such as myself. I should see my 59.95/month bill raise to 67.95/month as of this week for no increase in speed and still crappy service.

Hidden cost has to be balanced by hidden revenue, like $10,000 for a hammer.
Why is Comcast still not being investigated for blocking certain internet traffic?

Because that is where the US wants to go and Comcast has started it off.

and even more infuriating is, what does Geronimo yell when he jumps out of a plane? Or the total insanity of how when old man who marries a young wife, he grows younger but she grows older.

All part of the plan to price people out of access.

This thread is a stretch even by internet standards. The two subjects have nothing to do with each other, War vs. Internet prices. Then Im suppose to buy the cable company is working with the evil US government to price itself out of existence? Doesn't seem very likely........

I think what they may be implying is the less people have access to the internet because of costs they less they have at alternative news sources and information so they have to rely on good ol corporate Media peddling **** for truth.. but I may be wrong, I know it goes much deeper than that.

Thats not the case though. There is free internet along with low cost dial-up solutions along with the library that even bums can use. Its actually becoming easier by the day to get cheap internet access. Of course there is a premium to be paid for high-speed but that is like any other service model. It's fast becoming ubiquitous like the television or radio and will be priced accordingly for basic service in the not too distant future. As far as alternative news, you can lead a horse to water.....
