Simple Problem... Not so simple Solution...

I've just arrived at my grandma's house... First, let me share a little information. My grandma knows nothing about computers, she uses hers primarily for e-mail, but she does has a wireless connection. Now, obviously glad to be there I pop open my lap top and boot it up. I click the internet options to look at my wireless connections in range, and there's my grandma's connection... Oh... But wait... It's coded. I now proceed to boot up my gram's laptop, and get to the router log-in, so I ask my gram where she put all the stuff when she got her wireless set up. She hands me a folder and I find what seems to be a list of passwords and usernames... I try them ALL. ALL with and without capitols AND spacing, AND try all the usernames with all the passwords. I ask her if she knows anything else and she replies, "Oh, I don't know... I might have written them down wrong, I forgot." So now basicly I need the WEP code and I'm locked out of the modem interface... Is there any way to reset this? And I mean reset SAFELY. The last TWO TIMES this has happened at my step-mother's house, AND my father's house it's resulted in ir-retrievable internet connection untill contacting customer support, which ussually takes me about an hour to communicate the situation, and get the problem fixed... Now I'd like to know if there's any way to just ASK for the password and username to some motorola helpsite, or a simple way to just reset the username and password... If not I will have to re-tread in unknown territory and manually reset the modem.
