Thousands of dead happily voting in NJ

Turns out 4,755 dead people voted in New Jersey's last election. The state registrar of vital statistics is required to provide counties with an annual list of all people over age 18 who have died, so the counties can remove those names from voter registration lists.

State officials say the annual lists of deaths from 1985 to 2003 are available, but last year's list remains incomplete and unverified. Deputy Attorney General Melissa Racsa said Joseph Komosinski, the registrar since 2003, "was unaware that this was one of his obligations."

Who knew, the dead shouldn't vote, and election officials aren't responsible to scrub the dead from voter lists.

One side scrubs several hundred thousand voters or makes voting such a chore that they can't before polls close and the other has a few thousand dead voters......

Can someone give me the link to who those dead people voted for? It does not say in the article posted, it was the republicans who brought it up, but it does not mean they were all dem votes

(hopefully they don't know who they voted for, but even knowing what party they were would make a difference I would think)

considering voting is anonymous, how would anyone know who voted for which side?

Im sure the democrats are saying that those votes were used by the republicans and visa versa...

but really there is no way to know.. probably a combination of both.
