I need to convert a bunch of files from MS Works .wks and .wps to excel and or word type documents. I don't have Works available to me. I have excel and word. Is there any way (the easier the better) to do this? Without buying a $200 program? I've searched google for an hour but haven't gotten anywhere.

Tried a few microsoft so called converters but doesn't seem to work.
Tried a few "Trial" softwares but they all leave some kind of message imbedded in the file.

Any ideas, thoughts....

"works" good :D

edit: Is that one that you tried already? I've always been able to read works files in Word with that one.

Thanks, but unfortunately that didn't seem to work for me. Now, when I open Word, the floppy drive goes nuts! Not sure what thats about.
