Im curious as to anyone that water cools their PC. Does your pump cavitate at all ? Mine is quiet 80% of the time. Then I fill it to the top and it starts to create a cavitating noise. Im close to just replacing the pump for a new better model but im hesitant to do so if this is a frequent occurance!

well, kind of hard to explain the sound. but it more or less sounds like a vibration underwater. If youve ever been on a boat that gets cavitation at certain speeds, it would be easier to explain !:I

I bought a complete unit from thermal take. Aquarius III (all external). So im not sure what pump comes built into it. Most likely some cheap POS. With your info I might just try to adapt a new better pump into it!

Sounds like you need a better air bleed on the system. You can do this by using a properly designed reservoir or bleed tube. Sometimes you need to pinch off the tubing enough to slow down the flow enough to let the air rise out of suspension and out of the system.
The only time I hear air in my systems is if I neglect them long enough to let the reservoir or bleed tube level get too low. This is running Hydor L40, Via 1300, Eheim 1250 and Iwaki MD20RLT pumps with various blocks.
Cavitation is not acceptable. Sounds like you need to really look at your system and figure out how to either properly bleed it, keep more of an auxillary water supply or slow the water flow if you have too much pump for what you're running.

LW is probably right. And cavitation is bad for a pump, can eventually destroy it.
