im re-installing xp and during the process its saying that it cannot copy certain dll's (missing) ..whats going on here?

knowing which DLL's would help.
is this using the original CD or
a "backup"?

There are a couple of reasons for this error.

1. Bad hardware, usually RAM.

2. Dirty XP cd.

3. Bad CDROM.
