The other testicle would compensate. The levels are monitored by the hypothalmus and pituitary gland which read serum testosterone, which send FSH and LH to stimulate production as necessary.

By the results of the numerous drug tests they have to go through... no (or not enough to make a difference in the natural levels). Reportedly, none of the medications he takes for the medical probs are banned by the sanctioning bodies.
Raw talent + he was able to build his physique from scratch since to his post-cancer atrophy, coupled with the best training and equipment that money can buy...

The guy is a machine, thats all. If testicular cancer can't take him down, a bike race is not gonna bother him one bit. Wonder how many calories a day that guy wolfs down?

I've read somewhere that an average cyclist on the tour de france consumes about 6,000 calories.

During the Tour de France, riders consume an average of 6000-7000 calories a day, more on particularly long or hard days. Some of these calories are eaten during sit-down meals: breakfast, a pre-race meal, and dinner. The rest are consumed on the bike during the stage or through snacking in between meals. No matter the time of day, it is rare to see a Tour de France rider without either food or drink in his hand.

Lance Armstrong aims to get 70% of his calories from carbohydrates (CHO), 15% from protein, and 15% from fat.

i don't think he has ever tested positive in his whole life, he is just a genetic freak and has a very strong will IMHO.

Armstrong may well go down in history as the greatest athlete that ever lived..No matter how many times he's been tested, he's never had a positive.

It's really pretty common for folk to scream foul when someone seems to be doing better than their lot in life.

What I find uplifting about Armstrong is his perseverance in this. Most people just don't have a clue as to what he puts himself through to be the best in the world at what he's doing. In fact all the cyclest in the tour put their lives on hold to train for it.

A 5 time champ is crazy.....and he's on the mark for a 6th. Go Lance!!
