I have been using this Avant Browser....(Free) for a few days now....
It's a very stable, super fast browser...Anyone else have something you think is worth loading up....??

Slimbrowser 3.89 Build 003 for me!

Ack.....attack of the buttons! OMG!
Straight up latest release of IE for me, with nothing else but Google Toolbar.
Used to use Nutscrape back up to around version 4.6something...then when they did that AOL merge, went with that buggy ever crashing Gekko engine...I went back to IE.

This is also my choice. I have been using Mozilla for awhile now and REALLY like it. NO popups!! Worth it just for that ... but it is also very fast.

Avant Browser is the best!
Make sure that you run the latest beta version, more stable then the official release:

Mozilla 1.6 kicks every browser in the ASS.
There isn't even a dispute. You have no grounds to argue the technical data...only your subjective personal opinions!!!!!!
LOL
Mozilla does rock though. I wish more peeps would give it a try because not only is it a small file to D/L, it's fast, stable, extensible, skinnable....you name it, it does it all.
All I know is this...it does everything IE can do better and it does a whole lot more that IE can't do.
BTW.....Mozilla users have the Google Toolbar as well...although ours has more features.

It seemed like a pretty quick/dependable browser...
It wouldn't let my WB App change the taskbar into the 3D interface...Like you see here in IE....
Seemed fast though..Good features....

One more tidbit of info.....Firebird only takes up 16MB's of memory as compared to IE's whopping 34 MB's. Mozilla only takes up 28MB's but has a FULL email application BUILT IN....can you open up IE AND your Outlook Express and take up less than 28MB's of memory?

Moot points for me, the memory, I'm always worried that with those offspring browsers that there is some sort of backdoor security issue.

JCOS....so what? I have 512 in my lappy as well. I have more ram leftover for other apps...you don't. Deal with it.
JD....and you are not worried that IE has backdoors? It is the most patched and vulnerable piece of crap ever. It's a security nightmare.
Mozilla is the underlying browser technology for Netscape. Really, as Mozilla has completely taken over Netscape, there isn't much of a difference at all. I think Netscape is more of a branded Mozilla....and they use AIM, we use IRC. There are some other differences as well that favor Mozilla only due to the fact that it is the parent now.

So what? What works for you does not necessarily work for me.
I use Winamp, Outlook 2003, Yahoo messenger, Norton Anti Virus, IE and windows explorer mainly. I think I have plenty left over.
