there will be a work-a-round for that snafu, in short order

Whistler 2428 seemed to attempt to implement the registering, and I found it easy enough to get around

microsoft will never get this product activation.. they tried it in 2428, then the crack for it was easily discovered: boot up in safe mode.. and change a couple of line in the registry.
now they came out with 2446(im rnning it this moment) so they get rid of the registry line, but they already have a crack for it.
(im running it with the crack)
I hate it when they tried to stuff like this, like for people that actually buy microsoft products, they know that windows has to be reinstalled at least a couple of times a year..

they gonna be putting alimit on installs,, which takes off the whole point of actually buying the software, and having the freedom to install it .. over it and over it againnn..

microsoft is gay, this is when linux steps in and fills the gap. but I'll probably stick with win2k and office 2k, since they are both pretty good and win2k is stable as a rock.
