whats better for online gaming as far as ping. nic setting of half duplex or full for road runner cable.

full duplex is better to have, but make sure your NIC supports it.

Nope, most games use the UDP protocol which doesn't have all the controls the TCP has. UDP is basically just a broadcast protocol.
