Asus makes great boards. Nice software with them too. Plus that chipset is bad ass on that board. I will make use of the ram to the max. plus if you game at all, that chipset is just another bonus. The board and a 2000+ for that price is pretty good.

BTW i have a DFI AD7 Pro mobo and a AthlonXP 1700+ with 512mb of DDR Ram. All only 3 months old that i'll let go for 220.00. Just so you know.

you can turn it off in the bios. be hard to find a good mobo that has nothing intergrated.

I think thats pretty obvious to everyone :D I love it, its run cool, its fast and the chipsets that are avalible are great perfomers. Microburst tech is a revolutionary why to move data. Shall i go on. :D :D Ther is good thing with AMD to but in my opion i just like P4. I used to run AMD, when they only had PIII , but then the P4 came out and that was it.

If the money thing don't matter. It wouldn't hurt at all. Make sure you get the P4 with the 512 cache. Not the 256 cache. well worth it. I would go with the 2.0 w/ 512 cache , before a 2.2 w/ 256 cache. :D
