multiproxy,jap,proxomitron,squid proxy just to name a few

I find that very difficult to believe. "Casper" or Ghost...whichever you prefer to the best of my knowledge....does not play headgames like that. He teases, plays, yes...but not in a mean way and I for one miss him being here...

Ahh cool. I have to see if Phbb has that hack. I hope Phillip sees that, but do you think that the proxy servers often change IP? If so, then how would they handle the old IP probably getting regenerated as a legit one , so as not to ban legitimate IP's once they get taken by a legitimate person.

Trial and error? I'm not sure plus you know your never going to stop them all, but if it makes a significant dent, that is all that's really necessary.

i think that is good but i was reading the thread and it seems to block out all AOL users.

So not sure how well it will work.

How about doing this instead:


When users register, they need to be validated and get admin approval, and they cannot use an email that is any of the free services like gmail, yahoo, hotmail and so on?

I know there are probably aways around it...but just make it harder and more inconvenient?




or how about this...a new user is not allowed to post in general forum until they have at least 100 posts?
