Realistically, your PC :D

With the 9800 you'll run it fine.

She's got a 9700Pro ;)

She needs another 512Megs of Ram and she'll be ok. It only runs at 1024x768 so...

One place I came across, from an interview, the EA guy said they didn't narrow it down yet, but so far, had P4 1.5 or higher, 512 megs of RAM, and a 128 meg graphics card...I forget what the graphics card was supposed to at least support regarding pixel shaders.

Running DC on some of the larger maps her computer is hitting the swap file. Which is why she complains of "lag" sometimes. ;) 768 would be better than what's she's got now. :p

Yeah, but it won't affect the playing of the game like it does now.

If we know what she has for RAM slots and currently installed RAM sticks, I can beam some up her way. Have a few 128 meg sticks kicking around.

If anybody has a mother board that will use a 512MB stick of Registered ECC PC-2100 RAM. I've got a stick of it that I'd be willing to trade for a 512MB Stick of Unregistered PC-2100

lol, great to see SG still shells out the awesome tech support (that's why I love this place). I'm pretty sure some advised this to her once before, but I see no mention of it in this thread. Has anyone recommended that she "lean" her system prior to playing BF by shutting down unnecessary background svc's/programs? It may help eleviate some the lag that she experiences and the page file hits. There is also a OS registry Hack out there that "clears" the page file upon shutdown that may also help (downside of it is a few more secs added to shutdown time though).

That's my 2 shiny coppers of advice :)
