Need help setting up Tiny Web http server ...

Post by Pink Floyd »

I have an FTP server already setup (G6) and it works perfectly but when I tried to setup an HTTP server for something different I couldn't get it to work :( I have a D-Link Router with 2 virtual servers setup - one on port 21 and one of port 80 each going to my local IP. Here is the directory structure for my http site..

c:\www\

\bin
\logs
\root

I have my website stored in root and tiny web stored in bin. When I launch tiny web I use the following command in a shortcut i created.

c:\www\bin\tiny.exe c:\www\root\ 80 192.168.0.169

start in:

c:\www\logs

Tiny web launches successfully but going to http://67.81.xx.xx leads me to nothing. Am I just missing something obvious or is there something else I have to do to make this work?

Thanks!

Try another port other than 80 as a test. Your ISP mostlikey is blocking port 80.
