Any Suggestions?

Can someone please tell me what the best NIC setting for DSL is?

I remember reading something about how it may be ISP dependent, but it doesn't explain what to set it to.

Right now under the NIC config settings it's set to Automatic.

What should I set it to?

I' running Windows XP Pro, DSL (PPPoE).

Thanks.

:D setting Connection Type on NIC
depends to devices attached to NIC
details can be find in manuals (description of devices)

modem to NIC - most 10Mbps fullduplex (check LAN side of your modem)
only few 100Mbps

router to NIC - 100Mbps fullduplex (but read about LAN side of your router)
only few 10Mbps
only few 200Mbps

fullduplex mean
...twice, both directions, in the same time, without collisions
