Is there a default login for Netgear modems?

I am trying to view the diagnostics page for a new Netgear CM1000 modem and using the usual entryway of http://192.168.100.1/ does seem to be reaching the modem, although "NETGEAR" is requesting login credentials. My past modems have never required a login to view diagnostics and I can find no mention of this anywhere in the documentation. I've also perused the rather impressive collection of hardware entries you folks maintain here and cannot find the modem listed within. Perhaps it's too new or listed under another name?

Do Netgear modems come with a default login, or was this set by my ISP during provisioning to keep me from viewing the logs? Being that I am having difficulties with this new hardware ( http://www.speedguide.net/forums/sho...orse&p=2429678 for details ) I would really like to get in there and view the signal strength and power levels before their technician arrives on Wednesday.

Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to provide!

I would try: admin / password (that was the default login for other Netgear models like the CM400/500/600)
