Welp I ended up creating my charactor on 'Guk' server. Name= Daneryes (Dark Elf) LvL 8 Fighter/Crusader, and Im headed tward ShadowKnight. I also found out that this class can tank with the best of them! Very impressed with it so far! gl everyone :thumb:

:thumb: Uhm I have been playing the beta for a week or so now, and I dont beleive its heavily dependant on net speed. Graphic/CPU power is another issue. I have all the settings maxed out right now and it runs fine. Of course that G-6800 ultra does help out! :)

Have you tryed using the Corsair Forums? Ram Guy is pretty good at pin pointing issues. If your posting memory errors and you pass all the tests in prime95 then maybe he can help you with something I dont know. I will tell you that he will likely ask you to use memtest86. What size PSU do you have? I had to upgrade mine to 480 from 350 due to my use of 2raptors,2optical drives,7fans etc etc.

I bought a complete unit from thermal take. Aquarius III (all external). So im not sure what pump comes built into it. Most likely some cheap POS. With your info I might just try to adapt a new better pump into it!

well, kind of hard to explain the sound. but it more or less sounds like a vibration underwater. If youve ever been on a boat that gets cavitation at certain speeds, it would be easier to explain !:I

Im curious as to anyone that water cools their PC. Does your pump cavitate at all ? Mine is quiet 80% of the time. Then I fill it to the top and it starts to create a cavitating noise. Im close to just replacing the pump for a new better model but im hesitant to do so if this is a frequent occurance ...

I have the same modules you have but only 1gig and mine only support 2,3,3,6 yet you have yours all the way down to 2,2,2,5 which is way below companies def. This could be your problem. And when using 2gig I think they recommend even higher settings then def. Like something along the lines of 2.5,4 ...

Win/ME is probably the worst OS anyone could use. I recommend if you want an older OS for such needs use 98SE.

Ive always been taught to install the oldest OS first on a dual boot. Maybe having your WIN/ME after you installed 2k might be causing some conflict?

Yes, do a back up of the stuff you want to keep then move it to a differant partition/removeable media(CD/RW,DVD). Then just format the OS partition and and reinstall ...

how do you work out the ram speed from that (ie pc4400, pc3500, pc3200 etc)


pc200*8(8Bytewide)= PC1600
pc266*8 = PC2100
pc333*8 = PC2700
pc400*8 = PC3200

8.9 is what the manufacturer states that a particular HD can peak at. I personally dont think 15 is terrible but I guess that depends on your hardware. If it were me I would try running a few more test just to see if that number fluctuates.

Yea I would suggest that maybe your PSU isnt suppling full voltage to all the rails. Also you may want to consider your Ram. Running Memtest86 might at least rule out that possibility. 4.40 is pretty low, but I'm not totally sold on that causing what you've explained. Memory gave me similiar ...

I dont know anything about 'HotSync', but Microsoft has a version called MS ActiveSync that I use my PDA for. Installed it over 4 months ago and I havent had to do anything to it since.
