The default speeds aint bad. I just took a speed test from ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/pub/test64

Hi, Just upgraded Win98 SE to XP. i had my settings tweaked in 98. But now i need some Xp settings i guess :)
Everything is Default at the moment. 500mhz 192mb ram Cable

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

Ok ill try those settings and report back. Does the Ramdrivr for Win98 really work ? cause i always had it installed but didnt make that much as a difference. When i had win2k the ramdrive helped alot. doesnt seem the same with win98. And what should i set my nic setting at ? 10mb full Duplex ? its ...

I Used to get 350 - 400kb/sec Download and 385kbps upload.
Now im not anywhere near it. I get 155kb/sec download and 120kbps.

Hi, I just installed win2k pro. When i try to start my webserver and ftp server from IIS it gives me a error saying
"The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion"
When i try to start it from My Computer ---> Control Panel ---> Administation Tools---> Services
