How to add a program to the Windows Explorer "SendTo" menu?

It is sometimes useful to quickly open files by right-clicking on them and using the Windows Explorer "SendTo" menu.

You can add your favorite editor/program to that menu with a few simple steps, as follows:

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. In the address bar, type: shell:sendto (this will open the correct folder location)
3. Add a shortcut to your editor/program to that folder.

Once you've done that, you can click on any file and your editor will be an option in the Explorer "SendTo" menu.
